What do you think of my song 'They Have Hearts'?

This song is based upon animal abuse, of course written at school.

Everyday you hear on the news than an animal was found dead You constantly wonder who could have done such a thing Crying your eyes out knowing you can’t do much but shake your head Lost in so many thoughts of what you can do to save an animal whose crying It’s sad just knowing that they go through; those owners just don’t care

They have hearts just like we do Can’t talk but the barks are a cry out for help Can you hear it - I know I can Stop this madness - save ‘em not kill ‘em

Unable to walk down certain streets to the barks you hear They aren’t angry, they just want a new home Hurting them is pass the line and you know it is but you’d rather drink a beer Tell me you can live with yourself knowing what you do is tearing them apart Treat them well like you would do your own kid

They have hearts just like we do (2x) Can’t talk but the barks are a cry out for help Can you hear it - I know I can Stop this madness - save ‘em not kill ‘em

They want to live just like you do Treat them with a luxurious home not hell You know what they want - and that’s to stop the abuse It sucks to know the innocent is being killed And you just sit there and watch it all BIT*H!
