Jump roping 1000 times a day.

I’ve heard somewhere that skipping 1000 a day makes you lean or something. Is it true? I mean, isn’t 1000 a day too much? How many should a person do a day anyways?

Answer #1

Well, jump roping is cardio. These are the national recommendations for cardio:

* A minimum of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per day (such as brisk walking) most days of the week
  or
* A minimum of 20 minutes of vigorous-intensity physical activity (such as jogging or running) 3 days a week
