OK, Motivation is the key to successful weight loss, but it’s something to need to work on first, or no matter what you eat or how much you exercise will work. Here’s a tip, Make a list of how you would feel if you lost those extra pounds. Here’s some ideas: Look at the list every night before you go to bed!!! Look better in clothes feel more confident enjoy clothes shopping have more energy feel good about yourself Be less like to have health problems, like heart or blood pressure issues later on

Once you start losing weight the compliments will start coming in from people around you and this WILL motivate you! Concerning the cravings, how about muching on something healthy instead, it takes alot of will power, but you can do it, chomp on a piece of fruit, raisins or a handfull of nuts or seeds instead, try yogurt it’ll fill you up. And drink lots of water all day, this also will fill you up. The point of going to the gym is, this is the place where you’ll see the best examples of motivation, and people who are going through the same ups and downs as you. The more often you go and workout, the quicker your going to see results, don’t give up on it. Dieting is basically about size portions and quality of foods, keep the size of meats, and fish to 3 oz., sounds like a tiny amount, only about the size of your palm, but with some veggies, and fruit, you will get use to smaller portions, Try to cut out any fried foods, or fast foods, and keep away from soda or presweetened drinks. You can reward yourself after you achieve some goals that you should set for yourself, like if I lose 10 pounds, I can have…this treat> You don’t have to give up everything you love forever, just till you learn how to eat better and smaller portions! It becomes a habit. Just try, it takes a little time and work, but you can do it! Hope this helps you abit.

Tell your parents to buy healthier food to help you go on a diet. Or you could ask them to buy more fruits, or something sweet you can think of that’s healthy. Whenever they go to the store, go with them.

And for a good workout, join your school’s soccer team. It could add on from 30-60 more minutes of exercise.

never say to urself that u are goin on a diet or that u are banning urself from a certain food, this will cause u to crave that food more and u will end up giving in .. say to urself u are ‘eating healthier’ and this will put urself in the right frame of mind to motivate ur self.

Also u need to think of reasons y u need or want to loose this weight and everytime u feel like giving up in excersie think of these reasons and do the same wen u are craving :D ..

hope this helped! .. and gd luck with the weight loss! xx

I think love got most of the motivational part going…

try replacing carbs with proteins. Proteins are extremely unlikely to be stored as fat, so they’re either burned or thrown out. They also require more energy to digest, which raises metabolism.

I would also say go for building muscle, but you’re only 14… you need to be a bit older before you go hard at the weights.
