Would you believe me if I say that I have actually seen fireflies?
We used to have fireflies at our house when we were little and unfortunately you only see them in very dark places and they are becoming extinguished due to so many lights.
Do you believe me?
Of course.
We even have them way over here in the cold Canadian north.
Some people refer to them as “lightning bugs”.
We have them every summer. My kids love to catch them and put them in jars for a “night light” in their bedrooms.
I live in a small wisconsin town- we have them all over the place. during the summer that is.

I havent seen them for ages but I believe you. they do exist.
I see fireflies all the time. I live out in the country though, that could be why.
They exist so yeah. I didn’t know they where becoming extinct.
