How many do you think would be appropriate per night?

I have been doing nightly sit ups and squats to tone my stomach and thighs. How many do you think would be appropriate per night? In sets please..

I was told to do crunches, first I was told to do 200, then 300, and so on, add a hundred a day, do like 50 at a time, take breacks and add on to it

my highschool track team does 4 sets of 25 but they dont do situps they do crunches… I hate crunches they are hard if you do 100 of them

Personally, I like to use the workouts from magazines such as Seventeen or GL. They are always just challenging enough to keep me going, but not too hard. And another benefit, is that they have professional trainers on their side to help create the workouts. They also have videos on their site to show you how to do the moves if you are confused.
