Did god want us to fight for religion?

did god want us to fight…? I am not very educated on the different types of religion and what they teach. my gut tells me she wants us all to get along.

god created the jewish faith catholics and christians and all the different branches,,, everything else was set up by the devil so take us away from god thats what I believe

you know I dont remember jesus, while he was on the cross saying to any group or religion that he was being sacraficed for only one certain religion or group. what I remmember and always was told that he gave his life to save us all for all our sins and through him, we would all be saved. so to me that clearly means there is no one on earth seperated for his cause. so I believe that we all exist with each other for one purpose to understand that love is much more than any other thing on earth, and love will take us to heavinly destination only known through our father , jesus christ . just my opinion …

As a Christian, I believe that there is an all caring and loving God, that designed the earth, and the inhabitants, and sent us his word to live by, which is called the bible. I believe that bible was given by inspirition, thru the power of the Holy spirit. I believe that God is spirit, and wants to be worshiped, in spirit and in truth. That he made a way for us to be in communion with him, and that was why we were created to begin with. He desires a relationship with us. He wants to live in us, thru his spirit, within. He wants us to pattern our lives after his will, he has only the best intentions toward us, and desires that we live with him, forever when we leave here. He offers eternal life, to anyone willing to follow him.

iM N0T SURE WH0 MAD3 RELGi0N AND N0 I D0NT THINK G0D WANTS US T0 FIGHT F0R 0UR RELGi0N. JUST THAT PEOPLE iNTERPRET THiNGS DiFFRENTLy SO SOME POEPLE THINK IT IS OKAY TO FIGHT FOR RELIGION BUT I THINK IT ISNT. IT JUST SOMEHTING VERY COMPLEX.

God says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but, mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. Also that we do not war against flesh and blood, but, principalities and powers of the air, wicknedess in high places.

Meaning… that we use prayer, and fasting, instead of guns and fists.

We are to contend for the faith, that was handed down thru the apostles.

But, we are to use spiritual weapons… not fleshly ones.

We can move in the flesh, but, this is not of God. it is of flesh.

And God says that flesh stinks in his nostrils.

Meaning, that we can never please him , if we work thru the arm of flesh.

We are spiritual creatures.

We are to operate in the power of the spirit.

The fighting that goes on in Gods name… is flesh… Not spirit. Not pleasing to him.

He tells us in his word, but, somehow, we keep missing it.

In the old testament, God appears to be a much more vengeful, fire & brimstone type of God whereas in the new testament, he is a far mor loving and forgiving God.

If a god needs to employ puny humans to fight for him, he isn’t much of a god.

Do u mean Islam is from devil ???
