Who created Religion:- "Man or God"?

I think we all believe in a higher power and look for a place to turn when the world turns it’s back on you. In a way I think we make up things about god but realistically I think God created religion kind of like he created everything in life.

Uhm because the stupid building really could reach the heavens? We’ve gone to outter space, but a big building would have some how reached heaven? Ok…

Religion is obviously a man made creation, religion is basically a set of beliefs and practices… there are several religions often with contradicting views, if God had created religion then surely we wouldnt have several different religions? Now if you want to argue that God divinely inspired your religion which is the right one (this goes to everyone religious…), at the end of the day there are still other religions, and there were religions before yours… so unless you want to say all religions are correct and divinely inspired… man created religion… (note however, religion and God are two seperate things…)

God made Adam and gave to him Eve who started the human race. Adam and Eve talked openly with God, face to face. They learned about God from God, their teacher. After the fall of Adam, it through the human race into a downward decline into sin.

Since sin has entered our world, live has become shorter, health problems, and more. And since man cannot talk with God directly anymore, we pray to HIm. Adam passed knowledge down from one generation to the next until it was written down and records were kept of what God teaches us.

When Jesus Christ came here to earth to teach us and show us the way, He taught us His truths, which is called religion and those who follow Him and His laws are called Christians. “Christ - ians”

So, I’d have to say that God started “religion” His truths to all who want to know Him. God bless you!

There wouldn’t be religion if it had not been for Jesus Christ. He came, He taught us His truths, He taught us how to worship God, He gave us free will, and said if you love Me, keep My commandments. God created religion, His religion, the one and only truth.

I believe that God has created a need in each person, and that humans have created religion to fill that need. I believe that the ultimate fulfilment is in Jesus, rather than in ‘religion’ itself.

I believe man developed religion as a way to worship Him (whoever you think Him or Her is) also, just wondering -confusedx0gurl- since you believe that He made religion, why do you not think that He made the jewish religion? or did I not understand your answer.

There are thousands of religions and thousands of different gods.

Is it simpler to propose that all but 1 of these thousands are man made, or is it simpler to propose they are all man made?

God created a good way to live and anything other than His way of life is considered “sin” however man created all the other dumb religious rules. So I believe man create religion.

God made religion but I wouldnt say he made all religions,,, becuase jesus was a jew and thats a relgion until jesus turned in a christian and all that started

WELL THE WAY I THINK OF IT… IF YOU READ THE BIBLE EVERYONE STARTED OUT WITH THE SAME LANUGUAGE BUT US STUPID PEOPLE tried TO BUILD THAT BIG BUILDING AND HE HAD TO SEPERATE LAGUAGES SO THEY COULDNT BUILD IT BECAUSE THEY COULDNT UNDERSTAND EACH OTHERS… THEN I THINK IT WENT FROM THERE…

I believe that there is only one God but man created religion.

Man created religion because you would need one man to think it up and then spread it

Humans created religion and the gods. That’s why all of it is so inherently flawed.

GOD did because he wants us to follow him:)
