Overcoming death
My mom has just found out that her highschool heart throb was shot and killed. She’s crying and depressed and I dont know what to do!! She also feels bad because she didnt have contact with him for a long time, because my dad wouldnt let them talk or see each other.. Now my parents are divorced (for a few years now) and my mom feels bad that she didnt make an effort to speak with tommy (the guy who was shot) .. Help me please??!! What can I say to her or do to make her feel better?? Its been four days now like this!!?? Help
Your right. Healing takes time, everyone feels regret when someone dies. They wish they would have done more, talked to them more, spent more time with them, forgave them for things, etc. It will be okay though, just give your mom a big hug and let her know you are there for her.

There is not much you can say to someone who is grieving. Have you hugged her? That’s about all you can do. Just walk up to your mom and hug her and let her cry on your shoulder. Healing takes time, she’ll be allright again.
what I would do is go online or find someway to get #’s for greiving support. A hospital might be a good place to call. Or talk to your doctor see if you can get brouchers on it or placce and #’s. after you get the # approach your mom carefully. She is sensitive right now. Have the things with you and tell her you are worry about her, hug her, and tell her you got somethigns that might help her. don’t push it on her just let her know you are there of her to talk to and there is other help out there. best of luck.
