How can I overcome my Baby Jealousy?

My fiance and I have been trynig to concieve for a few months now, and we have not had any luck yet. Yesterday his younger brother and his brothers fiance called to inform us that they are unexpectingly pregnant. It wasn’t planned and I know there is nothing that can be done because this new life is coming. But I just am so jealous because we have been trying and they didn’t plan this. Help! I just need to be able to be happy for them. I know deep down I am, but at the same, now if I end up pregnant, the inlaws aren’t going to feel the same becuase they already have a grand baby on the way… :\

I know how you feel about it. But somehow we must take what is given to us. If you want to make sure that everything is fine, you can go to a doctor and have your and your fiance’s fertility checked. A doctor should let know if everything is fine and in fact you are ready to have a baby soon.

No doctor with do tests on you until you have been trying for a year if your under the age of 35.. Here is a website that could help you narrow down what days your fertile and when the best time would be to get pregnant.. Babycenter.com

Also try and be happy for your brother. it is normal to be a little jealous since your trying to concieve so hard. He would be happy for you if the roles were reversed.. Good luck and i hope you get your big fat positive soon
