Overweight and loving junk food

I love junk food. my bdy makes me think I need junk. do I have to force my self to eat veggies?

Answer #1

at first you will have to make yourself eat what is good for you…and CUT OUT THE JUNK!!! give yourself the weekend to cheat at first. this worked for me! I looove sugar! Cookies, pies, cakes, sticky-gooey-candy!!! omg, yum! but I know that I have to take care of my body. so I made a choice to eat only healthy things through the week. it was SOOO hard. my body craved everything bad! I lived for the weekend, and didnt restrict myself at all on my portion sizes or what I was eating during sat and sun. But I was strict during the week…it took 2 or 3 weeks and I wasnt as interested on eating loads of sugar non-stop all weekend long. instead, I would choose one or two, single serving desserts at the grocery store on saturday morning. that way, I have a dessert for each weekend day, but no left overs tempting me through the week! honestly, those two desserts became enough to stomp my cravings! its been two and a half months now…I still give myself one cheat day each week…and I dont count fat, calories, or anything that day…I just enjoy! GOOD LUCK and KUDOS for wanting to do something that is good for you!

Answer #2

I don’t know how to make yourself want veggies but if you eat excesively then next time you feel the need to eat even though you shouldn’t, chew some gum. It will make your body think it’s eating so you should be ok.

Answer #3

try eating a ton of fruit too! I had a bowl of black beans with pico de gallo for a snack today… it was SO good.

Answer #4

make interesting creations of your veggies, my fav is veggie pizza, its a wasa cracker, with cream cheese spread on top, then it has any king of veggies you want on top, its really good and healthy :) good luck
