Military pressed

hey all…Its been awhile. Anyway, I go back to the Academy soon and I’m having a litle trouble remembering how to “military press” my uniforms. The creases are long gone from washing and wear. Can any one refresh my memory. I have a pretty good idea but I’m still having trouble preventing double creasing. any tips

Its Navy Blue hidden button Nomex topshirt wit Breast and left shoulder patches. I have a pretty good idea for the center line on the back but I’m a little confused about the two outer lines.

Answer #5

your not supposed to press Nomex I thought…

It would take away the fire resistance

Answer #6

your right…these are a nomex poly cotton blend though. about 70 percent cotton 30 percent Nomex. These shirts were meant for use on the Fire Ground more like a workshirt than anything. It would be stripped before I put on any turnout gear.
