How does my "Remember before" song sound?

Okay so I write my won songs and this is a new one I wrote, so heres some of it please tell me what you think :) thanks!

V1: We used to walk/ we used to talk/ you would kiss me under the moon/ you told me you cared/ said that your there/ well then how come its different now/ please / oh please/ remember before

Chrous: Remember before/ when we were togther/ forever and ever/ you told me/ that you loved me/ but now its over / now its done/ and im left being the only one/ remeber/ remeber before

sounds very basic, sorry to be harsh but honest opinion. Maybe spice it up with a few different word choices, or perhaps more words in general haha but choose them wisely. Dont just throw stuff in for the sake of it. Writing songs should be thought provoking and full of feeling that you want to give to your audience.
