How do you control anger management?

I have had problems when someone insults me and I just go off on them! I can’t just shake it off, I always have to say something back. I just hurt someones feelings really bad, just because they were joking about me. now I dont know what todo.

I needed anger management really badly when I was in high school. I got suspending more times than I can count in those four years for starting fist fights and it was always over dumb stuff. even jokeing around with people like you said. I would even get into it wilt strangers in places! it was horrible. so I did have to end up going to anger management espically when I started in the work feild and being around the public all day. It definitely helps so you should look into it.

I had the same issue. But once I realized how much pain I was causing others I just stopped. Every time a angry thought came into my head I just kept it there and didnt say anything. I just learned to ignore all the anger because it was much better then hurting my friends. And only expressed my anger when in an apropriate occasion.

Take anger management classes. Many people don’t like taking the classes because they are in denial of having anger issues. Accepting the fact that you have an anger problem is a good way to start. Or you can simply talk to your school counselor about it. They can always help.
