Building muscle?

I have a few questions about muscles. Would bike riding and running gain lower leg muscles? And if not, what will ? And how long should I work out daily to gain muscle, and how long will it take for me to finally see a difference?

It can take a while depending on how much you do. Don’t over do it. Bike riding and running do help. There are also lots of other exercises you can find online.
