A new poem any thoughts?

well I can take anything yo throw at me so please be tough…

Life is so short, a year so long, My love for you was once so strong, Now I see you, now I don’t, Now your gone, turned to smoke,

The tears of war are all over my world, The evidence of death splattered across the page, The hearts torn out, The lives cut short, The fear of unknown, of death and of love,

Why is War such an ordinary word? Why is demise so easily come across? Why is my world held together by bandages?

Torn apart by war are the lives of so many, Beheaded and stabbed in the heart, Are all hopes of world peace,

So many people walk away, From the things they should fight, They turn their backs and ignore, The torture plain in front of their eyes,

So when you returned after they had all gone, When you found me a cripple deprived of a limb, And you turned your back again, I finally realized the truth about you, And my hopes of True Love left with you,

So please learn from your mistakes, The things you’ve done wrong, And find someone to love, and for them stay strong, through all the wars of the heart.
