Why won't they stop fighting?

It is easy for others to say that you can just ignore it because they don’t live in it. Parental arguments create nervous children who have low self-esteem, and I know this because I am a product of two parents who hate each other. I used to live in fear because I thought one day they would hurt each other. Going to a counselor is a great idea. Also, you can try writing your parents a letter saying how you feel. Trying to talk to them might not work because more than likely, they’ll get defensive or tell you to mind your own business, or even blame the other parent. Also, try reaching out to a close family member that you trust and ask them to mention it to your parent.

Every couple is bound to argue, theres really nothing you can do, your parents have to sort it out

just try your best to mind your business, and still be respectful to them both. You will only hurt them and yourself by trying to give them advise or telling them to stop.

Hon, there is nothing you can do to stop them from fighting. What you can do is try to find a quiet place for you to retreat to when it happens. A friend or relatives house to go to when it gets to be to much for you. I wish you the best!
