Whats the recommended amount of walking I should be doing every day?

30 mins to 1 hour. this was what my diabetic doctor told me 9 months ago. i walk 1.2 miles a day

i walk to the shop and back. i live pretty close to sutton park so i could always walk there, around it and back home. theres 1 thing i know and thats like you said its boring to walk when no on to have a natter with so if no body wants to come i always phone someone. walking round a shop counts too ;)
