What is a metaphor for the beach?

Metaphor is one object that is described as if it were something else.

Also, I need a simile (two things are compared using like or as), personification (a nonhuman thing given human qualities), and a hyperbole (something greatly exaggerated) about the beach, too. If you have any sentences for any/all of these please tell me!! thanks

As I opened my eyes the emerald branches hanging out of the tree, the sound of the waves where rushing through my eardrum, the smell of the coconuts where overtaking my mind, The slivering slithery warm sand was all between my toes which was extremely ticklish. The sunlight was a glitter in my eye shining across the sky. Walking along the beach, I stumbled a sparkly silver shell. It shone into my eyes, blinding me.
