Twelfth Night

I’m writing an essay on how Shakespeare used metaphors and personification to express the feeling of love. Does anyone know any quotes I can use from the book that would support this. any metaphors or personifications?

Hi,

This is discussed on Novel guide. com

The Fool- Feste represents the contradictory nature of the play. Though he is the fool, he has an incredible wit, and shows that things are not always as they seem.

Music- The opening line in the play shows that music is an important metaphor for love. Throughout the play, the Fool uses music to show his love for various things.
