You could talk about the negative effects from tourists polluting the beaches and harming coral reefs (if you have coral reefs).

In other words, high-density tourism destroys the very environmental features that attract tourists to begin with, making it unsustainable. It may be that better land-use and economic development regulations for limited and lower-impact tourism would be sustainable.

Tourism is sustainable any where due to growing global populations ,and considering India is growing real fast then ,Why is it even a question? Unless the beaches are being washed into the sea or the area is suffering dramatic changes in climate then what can ruin it?The locals who are not happy,WHY are they not happy?because (i guess all this) they unlike most places like Spain or Italy are not making Money from the tourists and are in fact being driven away from thier land ect That is what i think this question is all about???….To sustain the whole situation without one winner out of local people or tourist is to engage the locals more,employ them,train them to be what the tourism needs and not bring in workers from afar.Let local people earn more than usual from the areas tourism,give them small buisness loans.Educate them on how to make money from the tourist market?

or …get rid of all the locals with $….an grow into a Vegas like hole.Nothing to sustain,ya just grow…and take every living thing down wid ya to the bottom of a mans worth.
