What besides live mice and or rats do you suggest feeding a snake?

What can I feed a snake other than live rats or mice? I ask becuase I have a strong love for animals and I dont have the heart to feed live mice to them or to kill them myself

ichibanarky is right but you need to understand that the snake need to eat smaller animals thats all it can survive off it wont eat things like fruits and plants

Most snakes will eat dead mice

You can buy them frozen at your pet store, and all you have to do is warm them up in a bowl of hot water before giving it to the snake

ya ichi is right…although over time you may have to get a stick and move the mouse around a bit to make it seem alive to your snake, or she may not be interested in it. Snakes have that killer instink that they will never loose…some of them need to feel they have made a kill. I am an animal lover myself however I do feed my snake live rats …the kill is very fast and my snake loves it. I think she is just over 4 ft long now. Anyway good luck!

id look at a pet store for dead mice, im pretty sure they sell them
