What are some ways I can control my anger so I dont fight people?

I am 13 years old. At school my anger issues have been gettig me in trouble.Any ideas how I can control it?

I fight and cant control my anger but still when I do kung fu on a bag I feel calmer. also when I hit the target in archery I imagine its the person that offended me. hope dis helps :)

I don’t know. I curbed my anger problem when I was really stressed at work and really hurt someones feelings. For me, I had to keep the bigger picture in mind.

well at school I have to go to this room and just sit there. but when im home I have to be alone and I listen to music.

Take on a boxing class? I think this is a good idea because it will get you active and you can fight without getting yourself in trouble. Other than that you can do things that make you relaxed to get your mind off it; go for a walk, talk to someone, go be alone somewhere, go for a bike ride, hang out with someone who makes you feel happy, etc.

I actually have the same problem I fight a lot a lil too much and really nthn helps me well I listen to music I always have my ipod with me or I think of my daddy who is dead but I think of him and juss wonder what would he want me to do which only honestly SOMETIMES help.. but my problem is my family( mom and 2 brothers),, and also cause I have been going threw a lot of racism my family is the only black family in this town/city..and I have been going threw hell in school. so thats part of my reason also but I have also thought bout taking boxing classes uhmm also here where I live they have twaikwondo<– I believe I spelled it wrong but yea doing activities like boxing,, wrestling,,karate,, and things like that may help
