How can I sleep soundly (read description)?

so i only seem to go to bed at 5 or 6am but i always wake up around 12 or 1pm or afternoon.. i have to wake up early tomorrow like 8am to go grocery shopping with my dad.. so how can i sleep tonight? what are some ways to make me sleepy besides medicine.

i know what you mean!! once you’re use to a set time, you can’t sleep early!! honestly, it’s all about just putting yourself in bed at the time you want, just relax yourself from all thoughts. that’s how i sleep at least.

Here are some things that may help: carbs. (Don’t eat a lot, but some carbohydrates are known to help aid sleep.) Tea can help on occasion. Making your room a comfy, safe environment. And most importantly relaxing, the more you stress about it the more likely you won’t be able to sleep. Honestly though some of these things may help, but it’s all on you to find what works….Hope this helped in some way!

You may not be able to change it overnight like that and since you are already preoccupied thinking that it may not work. Next time see if you can know at least a few days in advance and sleep in and hour earlier each day and don’t drink anything with caffeine past 3pm.

well i dont drink caffeine anyway.. all i drink is water and milk and sometimes juice but yea i dont eve drink caffiene at all.

If you want to change your body clock completely and for all time, I would say not to go to sleep at all tonight. Stay awake and go to the store with your father. Try to stay awake for the whole day and take yourself off to bed at an earlier than usual time tomorrow night.

Unless you have to be up all night for a specific reason, like work or such, it is better for you to sleep during the dark hours anyway, both for your health and social life.
