Why cant I sleep without sound?

I cant sleep without it if theres no sound I feel really uncomfortable. Why is this?

I understand your dilemma - I too, need noise to sleep.

For me, it’s a comfort thing. When it’s quiet, I feel alone, and something as simple as just having the TV on for background noise usually allows me to feel safe and at peace.

There’s nothing wrong with you, and there’s nothing wrong with having a radio or TV on if it helps you sleep.

Maybe because you are used to sound around you and it makes you feel comfortable. There is nothing wrong with it. Try playing some music softly to fall asleep to.
