Should I be taking protein/whey shakes?

i am 15 years old and 130 pounds, i have been working out for for 7 monnths and i see changes bigger muscles, more curves, weight gain, etc: i want to get more faster ( no steriods ) and i have been wondering should i be taking whey protein shakes ? everyone in my workout class does so maybe should i be using it, i just want to know is it bad for me at this age or should i use it because its ok.

I would say yes, but I would also consult your doc to see how much you need

I would talk to your GP say what you are trying to do and they will probably have to check your health and everything and also they can give you the healthy amount of protein you should be having inside your body during workouts. I dont agree or disagree with protein shakes but I would rather have a good healthy meal each day and work out ensuring im drinking enough water.

(funnily enough, theres an add right next to this question about buying protein shakes) :L

Protein is only useful if your exercise or work out also the shakes are just easier to get down they are pretty bad tasting usually.

yes bt more than your body needs could also be bad for you… dont overdo it

You get all the protein you need from a healthy diet. No objective study has shown benefits from protein supplementation for athletes. Body builders do the high protein thing because of tradition and effective marketing.

They r fine. My Dad got some protein shake powder at a health store 4 my brother cus he’s really tiny and it was mostly just way so it is fine. As long as u aren’t allergic to milk . :) =D
