Can I move out at 16 without my Mom's permission?

I am 16 and finishing school this June. My mum is moving in with her new boyfriend of one month and is moving to Southampton (We are currently living in Bournemouth). I start college in September and she is expecting me to either move with her and catch a train and 2 buses to college every day and get there for 9am. Alternatively she said i can either move in with my nan and uncle in a small 2 bedroom bungalow, my sister with her husband and 6 young children or in with my dad and my sister who are sharing a one bedroom flat. There is no room for me with relatives but a friends dad has offered to let me move in with him and share his 2 daughters bedroom. My mum will not give me permission to move out although i have 2 jobs and somewhere i could live. Is there anyway I could move in with my friend without her permission before im 18? Please help!! Hi,

I’m not sure about the laws for Great Britain, but in America, Emancipation guidelines vary by state.

Usually, the age for majority is 18, which means you must file emancipation in order to become legally separated from your parents.

To become emancipated, you must file paperwork and then go to court. In court, you must prove that you are able to financially take care of yourself without your parents help (you must be able to pay for rent, utilities, food, clothing, etc.) And the means of support cannot be welfare. Then, the courts then decide rather to grant or deny your petition.

Hope that helps!
