Why am I always hungry 24/7, do I have a problem?

Answer #1

Your most likely lacking the proper nutrition. Make sure you are eating properly and from alll the food groups daily, drinking water helps alsoo.

Answer #2

I have to agree…are you getting 3 square nutritious meals a day with 2 fruits in between plus 8 (8 once glasses) of cold water?! (That doesnt include sweet beverages, tea or coffee either…I mean straight up water!)

you may be mistaking food for water…feels the same but is very different.

my best advice to you, before you eat something have 1 -2 glasses of water…if you are still hungry then eat something…if you arent then that was why you thought you were hungry!

hope this helps!

Answer #3

Ohhh, I’m like that too XD Probably because no one in my house knows how to cook, so I live off of candy, chips and microwave dinners. You have to get the proper nutrition, or else you’ll be hungry A LOT. Just eat healthier, you should see a change :)

Answer #4

I’m always hungry too. Try eating more meat and bread cause they will keep you filled longer.

Answer #5

It’s most likely because you aren’t eating properly. McDonalds and fast food may look like a big meal, and you will feel full afterwards, but 20 mins later you are starving. A sandwich may look smaller, but you will get about 2 hours energy from it. Eat healthy foods including fresh fruit and veges and plenty of water.

Answer #6

Some people are emotional eaters…they aren’t really eating because they are hungary, they are eating to fill emotional hole.

I agree with temptress on the fact that sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger…it happens to me often enough that I’ll drink water first to see if I’m really hungry, or if it’s just thirst.

Answer #7

It could be that you are simply growing so your body needs more nutrients in order to do so. Keep in mind that a lot of growth, especially during puberty, cannot be seen from the outside of your boby, and is not shown by your height. I also agree with mandyloo, that you could just not be getting enough food, or more likely, a good quality of food. Eating healthy does not have to be expensive, and it can be fun too! I love picking up a piece of fruit for a snack when I’m at the grocery store. (And paying for it) (: You probably don’t have a problem. Don’t worry about it unless this becomes an extreme hunger all the time. Then you should consult a physician.
