What should I do about my binge eating?

I’ve been binge eating since I was 3… I know it sounds weird, but yes, I was emotionally eating when I was 3! I was always sneaking food to myself and pigging out, and I’ve always been overweight.

I’ve noticed my problems so many times. Today I felt so bad because I had eaten a package of ice cream all at once, along with a sandwich, oatmeal, and more! I really know I have to stop myself but I don’t know how to.

I’ve been seeing a therapist, but ever since I have, I’ve been eating even more and more. I was actually getting so bad that I had to start taking pills. Now, I’m binging on 5000 calories a day. I understand how unhealthy this is, and I don’t know how to stop!

I’ve been looking online everywhere, but apparently almost everybody thinks that Anorexia and Bulimia are the only kinds of eating disorders… But binge eating disorder can kill, too… All of my friends don’t understand how hard it is to control myself. They keep saying, “Just eat till your full! If you have the temptation to eat, go on a walk!”

The problem is, I never feel full anymore. With binge eating I lost the ability to tell if I’m full or hungry. And with this eating disorder, is the lack of exercise… I eat so much that I can’t exercise for more than 7 minutes strait! Last summer when I had actually somehow lost some weight, I was able to exercise 30 minutes without stopping. Now, I can’t do anything close to that!

So now I’m binging so much and feel sick every night. It’s just been getting worse and worse as I’ve gotten older. I always feel even more like a pig when my friend eats two cookies and three SMALL pieces of chocolate and calls herself a pig… She should see me, eating over 5000 calories a day!

I’m 145 pounds, 5”2. I know I’m only a little overweight, but I can gain even more if this keeps happening to me! I want to be down to 110… That’s how much my friend weighs and she doesn’t look overly skinny, and she’s not fat at all! I’m so sick of going on diets but binging the next day, just gaining like 10 pounds a month! I have no idea how to stop this, though…

PLEASE help!!! What can I do??

Your not that overwieght. and if you want to loose weight exercize as much as you can walk places instead of driving you know? dont drink anything except green tea and water. plus one cup of fat free milk a day. I hope you fix yourself up, and remember that you’ll always be a beautiful person no matter what size you are :] hope I helped

The perfect diet to lose weight is: for dinner have a steak and when ever you get hungry just have a boiled egg. good luck.

your right, binge eating can kill as well and can be as emotionally and mentally difficult as anorexia or bulimia at least you know you have a problem and know you fing it hard to stop eating here are some tips… eat slowly, your stomach cant tell when its full untill about 20 minutes, so the slower you eat, the quicker youll be able to tell that your full, so then you can stop eating try to avoid junk food like chips, chocolate, biscuits, ect try substituting them with crackers you can add some cheese, or ham, ect to them and theyll taste great try to cut your soda habbit if you love soft drinks because not only to they contribute to weight gain but there unhealthy, and theyll make you feel sluggish and more thirsty, do try to drink more water, its one of the best things you can do for your health and your body dont snack on junk food all the time, when you do, it becomes less of a treat and more of just a meal…and thats not what you want to do for meals try differnt kind of meats, beans, salads, nuts, and pastas and look up some recipies you might want to try its okay to snack every now and then but when you do, go for healthier snacking, things like dark chocolate and ice cream not only taste great, but have less fat in them also, go to a doctor and get your bmi (body mass index) correctly calculated, that way you can see how average, underweight or overweight you are for your height…and work fom there
