How much does cartilage piercing hurt with a needle?

ok, I know that using a gun is bad, and it is totally not going to happen for me, so how much does it hurt with a needle, people have said the pain is as much as a bee sting, and like a bee sting the pain comes back again and again every few seconds? so please can you tell me HONESTLY how much it hurts and what it is like with a needle! :)

I used a gun and it didnt hurt at all if you do it fast with a needle then it probably wont hurt

Honestly it dosen’t hurt much more then a standard lobe piercing… The navel, lobe, and cartillage (helix part) all generally feel the same to me. In all three cases I compare it to a very hard pinch.

But everyone has a different pain tolerance though. So each person is gonna say something different about it.

By saying it felt like a bee sting they probably meant the initial pain that comes with being stung, not how it comes and goes etc…

I would advise NOT doing it on your own. it is guaranteed to get infected. It hurts much worse then a gun. trust me, I know! a gun is easy and quick, a needle will take more effort.

well 6 weeks ago i got my cartlaige peirced with a needle it took awhile because they would push for like 5 seconds and stop so it hardly hurt but little did i know it got infected last week and now i have to clean it every day and it is slowly closing up
