What size of needle should I have to pierce my bellybutton?

I want my bellybutton pierced but I don’t have money to get it done. My friend works in a piercing shop cleaning and stuff so he’s watches it all the time. He knows how to do it and stuff but I Just need to know what size of needle do I need? And how much does it hurt?

Well he works in a shop and I’m pretty sure he knows but I just wanted to make sure. But I’m scared cause he’s gonna do it at my house.

It doesn’t hurt too bad. And if your friend works in a piercing shop why doesn’t he do it and he should know what size needle.

It depends on the person and their skin and all that, but it shouldn’t hurt that much. Also, the pain shouldn’t stop you from wanting to get one.

A 14g needle should be good. Most jewellery is in that size.
