Adding weightlifting to my routine

Hi guys!

Just a quick question about exercise. I exercise 6 days a week and I love everything involving cardio (treadmill, the eliptical machine, etc.)

I want to include some weight lifting in my exercise regimen but honestly, I don’t know how to get started! I know how to use all the machines but I’m not sure how long I should use a machine or how many sets I should do.

Anyone have any suggestions? Oh and tell me all the things you guys do to stay fit (: Thanks!

ill be glad to help you..yeah first do some running or jogging,,treadmill will do..then if you like to add some weight lifting…doin bench press is great..you also need a pair of dumbells..just remember that the weight of thing that you are using is not that important to develop muscle…its more important to use the right amount of weight and doing a lot of repetition just dont over fatigue yourself…after that your good to go…run to your kitchen and drink some milk..oh and dont forget to wipe your moustache! ;) peace…

Well you shouldn’t do cardio before a workout maybe as a warm up but really light if you do cardio before a workout you will lose alot of energy and tire out faster so you will give a bad preformace lifting weights which then will mean not best gains you can do cardio just not the same day you’ll weightlift, I your have weight you wanna lose you can do cardio often I your skinny try to limit cardio to 3x a week
