What is a good work out routine to gain muscle mass?

I started a weightlifting routine about four years ago (I started at 5 pound weights). what I do is I lift weights twice a week for an hour each time. now, I’m up to 75 pounds. it helps buid muscle in your upper arms and (depending on the position you are in when lifting) you can also work out the lower part of your body.
