How can you tell if you are overeating or not ?

Answer #1

It depends if you are eating over the reccomended calorir intake for your age, gender and activity level. If you go to the calorir needs section of this website- www.ahealthyme.com you can find out.

Answer #2

Let me put it to you this way: if you have a tendency to eat fast and go for seconds, you’re probably overeating.

Try eating slowly. Put down your fork between bites and focus on the food in your mouth. Savour it, understand the texture, enjoy it, then swallow.

By savouring your food, it gives you that oral satisfaction you require without shoving food down your throat long after your stomach is full. And, by eating slowly, you are giving your brain enough time to process the fact that you are full enough. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes for that signal to reach your brain, so wait at least 10 minutes between helpings.

You should never eat until you are full - you should only eat until you are no longer hungry.
