How can I lose weight and not go back to my old eating habits?

On January 1st I started my diet in 6 days I had lost 7 lbs. I went from eating about 3000 calories a day to eating just under 1500. I am 5’2 and weight 143lbs. I want to start up my diet again, cause when I look in the mirror I see a fat girl, no the skinny girl I used to be.

Does anyone have any helpful advice to keep me on tract, and exercise ideas?

A strict diet may work in the short term but you can’t stick to it - your body will protest as the survival mechanism kicks in and you will feel overwhelmed to start eating more, and you may put on more that what you had. You need to stop obsessing and be kind to your body. Look after it. Eat healthy nutritious food and eat each meal slowly - savour the taste. Yo-yo dieting like you are doing can cause problems with your health later in life & make your hair skin & nails go bad as you are not getting enough nutrients. Eat well and excersise every day, even if its just a long walk. You will be fine.

I cut out the soda pop and I also keep the fork OUTTA MY MOUTH!! I lost over 80lbs and it took a while so just stay focused, if I wanted something like a candy bar I went ahead and ate it. Be sensible and good luck!!!
