How can I eat healthy with the way my friends are?
Im a health addict i try to eat my best and workout everyday but my friends arnt. i hav a freiend whos like recoverin from anerexia so wen i dont take the food they offer me they start nagging me cuz they think im guna end up like her. all they offer is like chips, cookies and brownies. i usually eat fruit, veggies, all bran bars and cerials for a snack but they dont get that. i dont think im fat i think im prety average i just wana be healthy but they dont get that. how can i eat healthy without my friends nagging me?
Oh man, I don’t understand why people care so much about others who want to be healthy, and it’s definitely wrong for someone to call you anorexic when you don’t even have an eating disorder! They don’t know your story, so tell them. Just explain to your friends exactly what you said here. After a while, they should leave you alone about eating healthy around them. They’ll get used to it. So many people think it’s just about losing weight but health goes so much further than that, including overall mood and the heart, and whatnot. Don’t worry about what others say, if it’s just a healthy lifestyle you are going for, simply state it. Good luckk (:
I would just make sure you have a few snacks in your bad yourself- things like a banana or the bran bars you like. That way if they start offering things around you can get out your own snack and eat that instead. They may just be worried that, if you are slim, you are not eating much, so like to make sure you are. If you show them you eat, but that you prefer a healthy diet then they should respect that.
At the end of the day, they can’t force you to eat something, so just explain your own view and be firm. Say that you like to eat more healthily to ensure you maintain your weight, rather than put any on. Make sure you show you appreciate their concern, but really are sensible and just like to eat the things you prefer.
Remember that you need some fat and treats in a healthy balanced diet though and as long as you eat well generally you can afford the occassional treat, so do eat their snacks sometimes :) it will show them you do definitel eat and be a nice treat for you without having to buy cookies and things yourself.

when they offer you (unhealthy) food tell them you had a big meal before meeting with them.
or bring your own food and offer to share some with them when they offer you their (unhealthy) food.
anorexia happens when you dont eat at all like 1/4 of an apple a day your eating healthy if you dont feel like eating junk food its not gonna make you anorexic if it did then all the people who were alive 100 of years ago would be really skinny and maybe die because of it now of course there right on a certain point you gotta relax a lil bit your hanging out with them its ok to have a lil something like chips,cookies or watever its not gonna hurt you unless you eat like too much but like a few cookies or 1 or 2 brownies wouldnt hurt
