Did I push myself too far?

Ok the past 3 days I have been joggineg, Monday I jogged for 20 mins, tuesday I jogged for 35mins, and today I jogged for 15.

And I excercise before, and I walk for about 5 minutes to get warmed up. Then when I’m almost home I walk the rest of the way to cool down. Then I drink lots of water.

But Yesterday night I went to the bathroom, and I couldn’t get off the toilet. My muscles hurt so bad that they wouldn’t work. I managed to pull my pants up and literally fall of the toilet, and use my doorknob and the sink to get me up.

And this morning it was terribly worse. I couldn’t get in the car, let alone get out of it when my mom dropped me off at school! And I can’t walk right, it’s like I have a pickle up my but. And I honestly cant get down stairs, without a friends help. And I cant get out of desks, without using all my arm strength.

And I’m not jogging too fast. And I was building up (time wise) each day so…?

And this pain in my legs is so excruciatin I almost cried at school today. And jogging made my upper abdomen hurt.

My Pilates Instructor said I should go to a doctor…

What’s your thoughts on it? It’s hurting soo bad =;(

Answer #1

30 minute sof ecxercsise is the recomended daily amount so if your doing less than that, your not overdoing it it likely that you didnt warm up or cool down properly so your muscles are ching if this is the case, theyll be aching for around 3 days, maybe a bit more but it shouldnt be as bad as you say it is so it would be best to see a dcotor and tell him/her about it and how painfull it is

Answer #2

yeah you might want to go see a doctor& see if he/she can help or recommend any different exercises. drink water after exercising, but not cold water. just room temperature water. I hope you feel better! :]

Answer #3

yes drink lots of water, but dont drink it fast, dont run EVERY day, try every other..

Answer #4
