Push Ups

How many push ups should I do for a workout and exactly where on your body does this helps?

Answer #1

Push-Ups develop the chest, triceps, biceps, and shoulders. There are a few variations of the push-up which focus on one muscle over another. An example would be triangle push-ups which is done by putting the hands together into a triangle and this works the triceps more.

Try different types and see what you’re into. I start my day by doing 50 push-ups in the morning, then during workouts I do 3 sets to failure. This really helps your muscles and you’ll be much stronger.

Answer #2

it works out your chest, shoulders, and biceps. do as many as you can example 40-60, or you can try a fixed number of sets, example 20 times each set with 60-90 seconds break in between sets and 3 times each set.

hence 20 push ups, 60 sec break, 20 push ups, 60 sec break then final 20 push ups.

great in morning after waking up. triggers your metabolism early in the day. :) (Y)
