Is it crazy to pierce an infant's ear?

Isnt that a little young for a piercing?

I think it is wrong. It should be up to the child if they want their ears pierced. It may surprise some, but not every girl wants holes in their ears.

I wouldn’t get them pierced until she is old enough to say if she wants them or not as Holly said, cause I know some girls that don’t have them done and they don’t want to get them piereced.

I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was 2 years old.But My cousin pierced her babies ears when she was like 2 months old.

In lots of cultures babies get their ears pierced. Im glad my parents got mine pierced as a baby. And I have never actually met anyone who wishes their parents didn’t pierce their ears as a baby. It’s a rather odd thing to be upset about.

Plus I meant to add that they might want to experience that themselves. I had a great time going with my friend to get my ears pierced and showing them off. :]

alot of ppl get their babys ears pierced wen they r babys they wont remember it wen they get older so u dont have to worry bout them bein scared to wen they get older:D

Not at all! :D I don’t know when my parents got mine pierced but I can’t remember it! :DD And it did not hurt me the least bit. (:

My cousin pierced her baby’s ears right after she was born. I think they are cute but as long as they parents keep the piercings clean I don;t see the problem
