Can you touch your toes?

I can’t touch my toes!!! Any good ways to become more flexiable and be able to tough them? Its always a warm up for gymclass, and I am one of the few who can’t… Halp!

I can touch my toes.. just spred your legs a bit more and practice…

I can touch my toes and do the splits. Hold yourself into the position where your muscles are screaming for twenty seconds. Then, put yourself into a more relaxed position. Hold it while you read, watch TV or do other sedentary activities. You’ll notice your flexibility improving. :)

if you stretch everyday as if you were touching your toes eventually you will…just how everyone can do a split…if you strech everyday and split as far as you can and hold it as long as you can everyday you will eventually do a split.

stretch your back and legs by doing splits and backbends.

I can! Just don’t try and stretch yourself too far, you’ll end up hurting your back or your neck!

I guess its just down to practice, cause I went to gymnastics for 10 years, and if it werent for that, I probably wouldn’t be able to lmao..

Try yoga, it’s supposed to make you more flexible… Some people are just born more flexible than others, but you can increase your flexibility with practice.

I can touch my toes with my elbows. I think I’m flexible naturally. I like sugar_cookie’s advice!!

if you are a football player (soccer) it is proven that you can not touch your toes. this is because when you kick the ball your contraction of the quadriceps is much bigger than hamstring so it shortens the hamstring over time and the quadriceps become the dominent muscle. im am 15 years of age and already know this because of GCSE physical education. if you would like to touch your toes dt leave it too late as it will become harder with age but just keep stretching this is very important. I have been playing football for 5 years now and as a result havnt been able to touch my toes I now regret not stretching because I get so many aches and pains in my lower back and can not pull of a good full range of movement. I have been stretching and aiming to touch my toes for 1 month and have stretched 10 mins a day 3 days a week and can already see 7 cm of improovment if you would like more info or help among this matter email me on hammers_09@live.co.uk
