army recruitment

How can I train in the british army without actually becoming a soilder and going to war, I want to just do the training, so I’d have military training and experience.

Answer #1

Im an ex-Army Cadet and I’ve recently joined the British Army so maybe the ACF is an option for you as long as you’re between 11 and 18. If not your best bet is the TA but I wouldn’t do the drugs if I were you the Military Police are a hell of a lot worse than civvie cops

Answer #2

well do the brit’s have a Army Reserve? I’m an American and going into the United States Marine Corps. but I would expect that the brit’s have something like the Army Reserve.

Answer #3

just join and then when you want to be done just smoke weed or something and get kicked out.

Answer #4

I would suggest the Territorial Army and would not suggest intentionally getting yourself kicked out. That would look amazingly bad to future employers. The other way you could do it is to join the Regular Army and just do the basic training. There’s a window of opportunity to leave during, or near the end of your basic training. And depending on which job you pick to do significantly effects what a war zone would be like for you personally. Admin stay in camp - Infantry do all the recce’s, patrols, op’s etc etc.
