5lbs in a week

I know I sound stupid for complaining because I’ve always wanted to loose weight fast, but I have been on a diet for 2 months and this is the first time this has happend! im eating 1500 cals a day as usual and exersising for a hour mon,weds,fri and sat. How comes all of a sudden its just dropped of???

if you drink a lot of water on your diet, this is common. your body will hold water for months and then when it releases it, you will drop an unexpected amount in a short time. or you could have altered your routine a little and changed something you didn’t realize. if you are totally worried about it though, contact a nutritionist. start keeping a food diary also, so that you will have a record of what you eat and drink everyday. I would recommend also putting your exercise details in the diary too. this way, if something like losing 5 pounds in a week happens again, then you can easily retrace your steps to figure out why, a friend of mine got freaked out because she lost 17 pounds in one month, and she looked back at her diary with her trainers and found it was because she swapped from regular coke to diet coke. I wouldn’t worry about it though. just moniter yourself more closely. good luck losing weight, and congrats on what you’ve accomplished so far. I’m trying to lose weight too ; )
