Why does the wind blow more in the winter as opposed to summer?

Answer #1

It doesn’t really blow more … it just blows colder (around here, anyway) … that Northern wind can be a devil.

Answer #2

Yes it can be :-(

Answer #3

It depends on temperature and air pressure differences. Wind blows from areas of high air pressure towards areas of low air pressure. The stronger the difference, the faster it gets. And temperature influences pressure. :)

Answer #4

Interesting, thx :-)
