Why would you reject jesus? Why would you reject Miyolangsnagma?

I reject all magical thinking, which includes the idea of dieties.

Hi Annv, I would agree with Informer and the others whom reject all, cause of all errors occuring in most of them. Reason being: these myths were written by inexperienced, under developed random people accross earth, mostly based on myths and cultural info they had. Amazing how religious people can tell you to not try to reason the facts in their bible at some verses, the next moment tell you what you read is facts??? I agree with informer. Also, since there is a lack of proof there’s nothing that shows it’s not all the same person or deity. Personally I think deluded idiots made the voice in the back of their heads into god. It sure as hell makes things a hell of a lot simpler.

I don’t reject Allah, Brahma, nor Jehovah as living deities… I believe these are all the same… equivalent of Jupiter and Woden… the demiurge. I question benevolence attributed to these iterations of the demiurge… successor to Shaitan or Saturn or Satan.

I don’t know who Miyolangsnagma is.

I equate Jesus with Buddha… Krishna… Baldur… all melchizedeks of El Elyon or Brahman or Ahura Mazda.

Miyolangsnagma is according to the belief of many Sherpa Buddhists the deity that lives on the summit of Chomolungma, also known as Mount Everest…

I would have to study the etymology and history of the deity then to get a better sense.

Many local deities could be representations of demons… djinn… various names for lesser immortals.

Is the question dismiss or reject?… I would be hesitant in accepting local deities… especially if they are lesser demons of some sort… but amiss in dismissing them outright.

Reject is such a strong word… if the antonym is accept… that sounds permanent. I wouldn’t accept the demiurge deities either… but I would acknowledge them.

I reject the notion that they exist. I see absolutely no evidence that dieties exist, and see much evidence of how the stories of them developed from moralistic folk tales, and creation myths by primitive uneducated people. I see no reason to simply believe something simply because our susperstitious ancestors did.
