Why do nice guy's finish last all the time?

Do you think nice guy’s always finish last? I’ll just say that I think I’m not that good looking and also a little on the heavy side I’m not fat but more like big boned. So my question is how do I get a woman to notice me? Also quick story on why I’m asking this question a few months ago I meet this girl @ a famous department store I did’nt even know who she was, We started talking next thing you know I have her phone number, I one day decided to call her out of the blue just to say hi, And I get her douchebag boyfriend swearing @ me while I was trying to explain who I was. SO now I’m afraid to talk to women, If you were me what would you do and would you feel angry like I was. Sorry for the long post.

Alright so that guy was just being an a*s. Guys protect their girls from other guys once they find a girl so don’t take that to heart. Nice guys finish first in my eyes because even if they are the ones that get rejected. They are the ones that are easier to love and will find a loving relationship in the long run.

I do agree with ichibanarky about the confidence thing also.

I personally consider myself a nice guy too. It sounds a bit conceited, but I do. I wouldn’t be too concerned if I were you. I think along the lines that once you find a girl, it’ll be worth so much more in the long run. I know I did. The poster above me does have a good point though. Be more confident in yourself. Take heart in that your future girlfriend will love you for who you are, rather than for superficial reasons.

It’s one thing to feel angry about a situation, but it’s in the past and you have to let it go…you can’t have it hanging over your head for life, and you certainly can’t allow it to control you.

Guys like you have a hard time finding girls - mostly it’s because you lack confidence…you see, guys who are jerks reek of confidence, and girls find that attractive. It would help if you could create a better self image of yourself, but if you’re content with being the guy who finishes last, then take heart in knowing that when you do find your girl, it will be the real deal.
