Why is it that nice guys have a hard time finding a girlfriend?

Just wondering what some other people think of this.

The unfortunate thing is that their are more men in the country of dating age than women, so some men will be stuck living lonely perhaps bitter lives.

To me it always seems like it is the “nice guy” the guy that treats women as a true “equal” that seems to end up on the short end of the dating stick. What are your opinions?

I think if the nice guy is a douchebag that explains a lot lol. I’m a nice guy, but I also have some sex appeal and I have a good sense of humor… Just because you’re nice don’t mean nothin… You gotta have more going for you than that. A Nice guy who just sits there and does nothing with his life is different than a nice guy who has made a life for himself and is doing well. A nice guy who’s fat is different than a nice guy who’s muscular. There are a million types of nice guys, and a million types of A$$holes… sooo The nice guy part is just one of many many contributing factors… are you a dumb nice guy or a smart nice guy, a rich nice guy or a poor nice guy, a scincerly nice guy or an obsessive creepy stalker waaay 2 nice guy?

figure out what kind of nice guy you are, and then figure out what other great qualities you have to add to the nice guy part.

Unfortunately many women are attracted to jerks for many reasons. Low self esteem is a big one of course. Also many women mistake being a jerk as being “dominate”, I think we’re all affected by primal instincts more than we imagine. Also, its great to be a nice guy, but make sure you’re not a pushover or anything of that nature. That’ll be a turn off for a lot of women.
