What's the legal age to start smoking?

18, in my town if your not 18 and they catch you smokeing you will get a ticket for smokeing

In my town, if your caught with a UNLIT cig or UNOPENED package of cigs in your hand and your not 18, you are arrested and taken to the police station to wait for your parents. You have to be 18 to smoke and buy cigs in my town that I know of. I watched some kids get arrested and one I knew was 16 years old.

Hey so, there are some weird laws regarding smoking. in some states you can smoke when you are 16 but cannot buy cigarettes until you’re 18 in some smoking is not even in the law but selling is prohibited to 18 year olds While some states take the european route and set 16 as the age of smoking and buying cigarettes….
