Let’s see if you work at a bar,you have to be 18 to hand closed beer(and closed beer only)you have to be 19 for open beer and 21 for everything.But if you are just buying it you have to be 21 and I.d with you.

It’s 18 almost everywhere else in the world. The only other countries in the United States that have such a high legal age are Fiji, Pakistan, Palau, and Sri Lanka. The ‘’maybe you’re more responsible at 21’’ argument does hold up, because by that age, you’ve already been allowed to gamble, vote, drive, and handle machines of death in the military. Compared to that, PBR seems like a minor risk.

The United States has much more in common with the more extreme religious nations around the world like Iran and Afghanistan than it would care to admit. Though we like to pretend that we’re as progressive as all get-out, conservative Christian values have helped shape a lot of our policies. And so we can’t drink until 21, can’t see a boob on television, and can’t get married if both partners have the same genitals. Sigh.

ya 21 here in germany you can drink beer at 16 but hard core lqure you have to hait untill you are 18 :)
