Views on drinking age limit?

in my opinion, the age limits should only apply to sales, not to consumption. If a 12 year old wants to drink, he will regardless of the law - I know I sure did as did my friends. A law that does not change behavior on a behavior that harms only the person involved, is immoral.

That said, drunk driving laws should be rigorously enforced, since that DOES harm others.

WELL SUM POEPLE WHO ARE 35 CANT DRINK AND DRIVE,,SO I THINK you SHOULD BE AT LEAST BE 21 AND OVER. GIVING SUM 1 WHOS 16 YEARS OF AGE AFTER HE/SHE HAS HAD A DRINK WHOULD BE AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.. LIKE THEY SAY GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE STUPID MOTHER F**ER WITH GUNS KILL PEOPLE..

im 20 and im glad the age limit is 21. Because I’ve never really had a problem getting alcohol, but I was an alcohlic for a while there. Going through withdraws and sh*t. It would have been so much worse if I could buy it myself. just like smoking, ages 13-15 I would only have a couple a day but when I hit 16 and got my license. I would go to the reservtions and buy cigarrettes, now I smoke a pack a day

Well I live in the uk and its 18 here to drink and but at that I even think thats bad because at the age of 16 you can legally have kids!! Leave school,, Get married but yet you cant have ah drink at your own wedding I but then again there thinkin of puttin it upto 21 but our governmetn actually think thats going to stop underage drinking but im sorry no matter what age you have to be people ar4e still going to break that law e.g The age for smoking has just gone upto 18 and I still se 13/14 year olds walking around town smoking!!

I think thats crazy. The drinking age here in Canada is 19 (Quebec is 18).
