Am I just being paranoid?

Recently, an old friend of my boyfriend found him, and they’ve begin talking to each other. They were best friends in middleschool, to the point where she even asked him out, but he rejected her. And she’s a really nice person, with a great personaility, and she’s very pretty as well. And yet, I can’t help but feel inferior to her, though my boyfriend as been telling me that “Nothing is going to happen, she’s JUST a friend.” I still feel. . .odd. I know it’s wrong to feel this way, but I just can’t help it. Am I just being paranoid? Or is it something else?

Please and thank you for those who respond. c:

It’s called jealouscy. No need to be concerned, everyone gets that feeling. Don’t feel inferior to her unless she starts to hit on him or he starts constantly talking to her. If this doesn’t help ignore her or tell him he needs to lay down the rules. Hope this helps.
