what is the best way for fat people to run a mile for soccer practice?

my friend wanted some advice about this subject…she doing soccer with me and we have to run a mile everyday

when I was at schol I could run the mile in under 4 mins… I was very fit back in them days…*

I find that very hard to believe sir lol. you should have been in the olympics.

just practice. practice a lot. look straight, chest straight, no slouch, arms moving, big strides.

its hard at first your body needs to adapt.

I couldnt even run 1 mile not to long ago without stopping, now 1 mile for me is a warm up.

now I can run 5

it takes practice and consistency

Uhm? What? How is this different from someone who is not fat running a mile? If you’re out of shape then you’re out of shape. Fat or thin. Try to do a little more every day. Like if you can only run I dunno, 2 minutes, and walk the rest, then try to run 2 minutes for a week, then run 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then keep uping the time you run until you can run the whole mile.

Tell your friend to run at her own pace.When she thinks she need a break, let her stop. Never think “I can’t do it.Only think about the positives. Say in your head “I can do it, I can do it.” Hope this helps(:

when you say fat what exact weight do you mean? :)

fat in my country is like 14+ stone so 14x14 is 196 pounds..

is your friend male or female? this will help :)

athleta has a point, the fastest mile recorded in was in just under 4 minutes. Making it an olympic feat. You missed your calling.

if your fat,”mark my words” you will lose your weight if you start practising soccer.son’t run much.try your best as much as you can cos day by day you will start improving.
